Founder & Managing Director
Rankopa Herman Molefi is the founder and Managing Director of MBE Risk and Consulting Services.
He has over 16 years’ experience in Internal and IT audit, data analytics, risk management, corporate governance and management consulting.
Rankopa has performed various engagement in the private and public-sector clients, including Standard Bank, Bank of India, Eskom, Telkom (SA, Nigeria), Auditor General SA, ACSA, SAA, SANBS, Transnet, City of Johannesburg, Gauteng Department of Education, Stats SA, Parmalat (Italy, SA), Lonmin mining, Dilokong Chrome mine, Owere mine (Ghana), AMCK mining (DRC), iWay Africa (Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria).
Rankopa has worked extensively in the African continent over 18 countries, and his core industry experience spans multiple sectors including investment banking, microfinance, insurance, telecoms and ICT, mining and resources, aviation, construction, transport and logistics, FMCG, education, etc.
Prior to establishing MBE Risk and Consulting Services, he worked for Sanlam Emerging Markets, African Alliance Investment banking, Select microfinance, SNG Grant Thornton and EY.
In 2019, Rankopa was awarded the future leaders Chevening scholarship (top 3% of 68,000 applicants worldwide) by the UK Government’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office to further his studies in the UK.
